For a student to qualify for the Pre-K3 program, the child must have turned three years old on or before September 1st of the school year in which they intend to enroll. Similarly, a child must be four on or before September 1st to qualify for the Pre-K 4 program and 5 years old for Kindergarten.
In addition to the age requirements above, students must meet at least one of the following requirements to qualify for free Pre-K 3 or 4 with SFDR CISD:

After your child has been issued a DISD number, you will be able to complete the enrollment forms online through Unified Classroom.
SFDR CISD does allow 30 days from the enrollment date to submit certain documentation. Please contact the child's school or the office of centralized enrollment to discuss your options.

Keep in mind, most of these schools are application based and less likely to accept students throughout the school year.
All transfers to another neighborhood school must be approved before the beginning of the semester by the campus you would like your child to attend. Click here to access the student transfer application. Please note, acceptances are based on the capacity of the school and up to the principal's discretion.

No. Once your child has been approved for a transfer, they may attend that school without reapplying until the last grade offered.
Transportation is provided for most of the programs offered within SFDR CISD, but not all. Check with the school your child will be attending for specific information regarding bus routes to and from school.
